MCP

Let Codex read the model before it plans the work.

Give Codex scoped, read-only access to rooms, openings, measurements and revision context in the workspace you choose. Use that context to plan a model handoff before refining the result in Blender or CAD.

Codex CLI

codex mcp add inktobrick --url https://mcp.inktobrick.com/mcp --oauth-client-registration dcr
codex mcp login inktobrick --scopes lodnor.floorplan.read,offline_access --oauth-client-registration dcr

Connect with your INK TO BRICK account

Add the remote MCP server in Codex, then run the login command. Your browser opens INK TO BRICK so you can sign in, choose a workspace, review the requested scope and allow access. Codex stores the resulting OAuth credentials; you do not paste an API key into this site.

  1. Add the streamable HTTP server at https://mcp.inktobrick.com/mcp.
  2. Sign in and choose the workspace whose floorplan context Codex may read.
  3. Review lodnor.floorplan.read and approve it. offline_access lets the client renew its session.
  4. Use Codex to inspect available project context and analyse the model.

Self-service access is read-only

The public Codex flow is for reading and analysing floorplan context. It does not grant structural edits, select design changes, or silently apply work. Teams building a compatible editing client can contact INK TO BRICK to review the application, confirmation flow and supported scope.

Access follows the selected workspace

Plus, Creator, Studio, Business and Project Pass include read-only MCP access. A Project Pass applies to its selected project. MCP activity uses the same workspace or project context and subscription allowances shown in Settings; there is no separate MCP credit balance.

Build around a stable model record

  • Ask about rooms, openings, measurements and project state before starting downstream work.
  • Use the model context to plan a Blender or CAD handoff, then inspect the exported file in its destination.
  • Keep human review around dimensions, structural choices, procurement and construction decisions.
