Yes. Upload a PDF floor plan up to 25 MiB to reconstruct a conceptual 3D model you can explore in a browser. For a single-floor upload, extract the required sheet as its own one-page PDF before uploading. That upload reads the first page and has no page picker.

Export the full sheet at its original size rather than taking a cropped screenshot, and keep the labels, wall lines, and dimensions readable. The drawing-context page number is source metadata, not a page selector. Page selection is available in the separate Business building flow. The model is a design reference, not a survey or construction document.

• Convert a PDF floor plan to 3D

Yes. JPEG and PNG floorplans are accepted up to 25 MiB, alongside PDF, SVG and DXF. A phone photograph works when the page is square to the camera, the whole plan is in frame and the wall lines, room labels and dimensions stay legible.

A flat scan gives the reconstruction more evidence than a photograph taken at an angle. Add the drawing scale and a known length when you upload, so the model has a dimension to work from.

• How floor plan to 3D works

It produces a conceptual 3D reconstruction with completed walls, openings and readable room labels. Open it in the browser, inspect the room connections and compare the model with the drawing before designing from it.

A project also carries saved revisions and model details. The project creator can export a revision while the project is nonpublic, with available formats depending on the plan. The reconstruction does not become a survey, construction document or native BIM authoring model.

• See a public model

The project reports completed processing stages while the plan is interpreted and the model is compiled. Time varies with the drawing and queue, so the progress display does not promise a fixed finish time.

You can close the tab and return to the project later.

Scale can be interpreted from the drawing and optional context: original units, a scale denominator, and up to 30 reference measurements, each a label plus a known length. These are evidence for interpretation, not a guarantee of calibration. Check the reported scale status rather than assuming that entering one measurement resolves the scale.

No accuracy tolerance is claimed. Model data uses meters; the editor's Units control offers Metric or Feet and inches. Compare two independent dimensions against reliable plans, then verify critical furniture, purchase, or building measurements on site.

• What measured means

Faint lines, ambiguous symbols, a cropped plan, or a low-resolution scan can make an opening harder to interpret. The reconstruction can also miss or misread an opening in a legible source, so a missing door or window is not proof that the drawing is unclear.

Compare every opening with the source before furnishing. Walls and openings are not editable here. If the source or context can be improved, prepare a clearer scan or one-page PDF and consider another import. Reimporting uses an import and does not guarantee a repair; review the new model opening by opening.

• Check doors and windows

With Business, a building project can combine floorplans from several files or selected PDF pages into a multilevel model. Review each floor, elevation, alignment and stair connection before confirming the reconstruction. Starting a new building reconstruction or retrying one requires Business; existing jobs remain available to review and confirm if your plan changes. Keep alternative apartment or hotel room types in separate projects when you want to compare different designs.

Compare the exterior outline, room names, wall positions and openings with the source drawing. Complete walls and readable labels make the model easier to review, but they do not prove that the drawing matches the building as it exists today.

No. The editor keeps reconstructed walls and openings locked, so a layout decision cannot drift away from the drawing it came from. A Design Option lets you place, move, rotate, duplicate and remove furniture, change available finishes and undo edits without rewriting the base geometry.

If a wall or opening is wrong, compare it with the source. A clearer one-page PDF, scan, or more reliable drawing context may help another import, but even a clear drawing can be misread. Reimporting does not guarantee a correction.

Partly. A phone can upload a plan, open the viewer, review a project and change finishes on an existing option. Use a tablet or computer for the full furniture editor, measurement controls, design options and detailed comparison work.

Clients and other recipients can open published project pages on a phone without installing the editor.

New AI furnishing generation and refinement are not currently available. You can still place furniture and change editable finishes manually in a Design Option while preserving the reconstructed walls and openings.

Creator, Project Pass, Studio, and Business include saved-direction controls. With that access, review a saved direction, apply it as a Design Option, and edit its furniture and finishes directly. Current-view photoreal image generation is a separate available workflow.

The two-point measure tool reports a model-space distance in metric or feet and inches. It does not calibrate the reconstruction or certify a clearance. Use it to investigate, then verify the real dimension before ordering or building.

As a signed-in editor, capture the current 3D view to generate a visualization with Gemini. The image uses that camera, scene and materials. Your private project gallery shows the result beside the captured source view.

Each result records the model revision used to create it. You can download the generated image and the exact source GLB.

Use the captured source view and the navigable 3D model to inspect layout and modeled geometry. The generated image communicates the proposed atmosphere and may change small visual details, so compare it beside its source before sharing.

• Render versus model

Free is for public projects and costs $0, with one lifetime import and one editor. Private projects need a paid plan, which you can choose on the pricing page. Upload only material you have permission to use, and review your model before publishing.

The generated-image gallery remains private to project editors. Only images explicitly selected for a published release appear on its public page.

Plus is $9.99 per month with one import each month and one editor. Creator is $29.99 with three monthly imports and one editor. Studio is $69.99 with eight pooled monthly imports and three editors. Business is $199.99 with twenty pooled monthly imports and five editors.

Monthly allowances apply to each active paid period; no rollover is promised. Export formats and design controls vary by plan. Choose or change a plan from your account settings; signing in alone does not start a subscription.

Yes, on the plans that carry more than one editor. A workspace has owner, admin, editor and viewer roles, and an owner or admin invites a colleague by email; a pending invitation can be resent.

Studio is $69.99 per month with three editors and eight pooled imports. Business is $199.99 per month with five editors and twenty pooled imports. Free, Plus, Creator and the Project Pass are single-editor plans.

No. A published project page opens in any browser without an account: turn the model, read the project text and read the comment thread under it.

Signing in is needed to comment, upvote or follow. Publishing remains a decision the project creator makes, and the uploaded source drawing is not part of the public page.

The public page presents the model and the public project fields. The source drawing, private generated-image gallery, collaborator details, billing records and internal processing evidence are not part of that page.

Model data delivered to a public browser can be copied. Do not treat a public viewer as access control for sensitive geometry.

Free is for public projects; private work needs a paid plan. Removing a public page cannot recall screenshots, downloaded files, search results or cached copies already held elsewhere.

Paid plans include MCP under the same plan features and usage limits, with no separate MCP credits. A self-service connection receives read access, and reading an existing project does not use an import. Contact us to register an editing client that supports preview and confirmation. Free does not include MCP; Business also includes API access for one supported application.

No. Upload and reconstruction use the web app or API, and scene export uses the web app or API. The MCP server works with existing projects. To automate Blender after downloading a GLB, use Blender Python or connect a separate Blender MCP server.

SVG preserves vector drawing output, PDF provides a scaled sheet, and DXF and AC1032 DWG provide layered 2D canonical plans for CAD handoff. They come from the reconstructed model rather than reproducing the original authored CAD file or a construction set.

You export the file each application documents an importer for, then check the result yourself. Blender documents a glTF 2.0 importer, so send GLB or packaged glTF. AutoCAD and other CAD applications read the DWG or DXF drawing, a layered 2D plan rather than the original authored CAD file. SketchUp documents opening an SKP file, and the SKP export carries meshes, materials and textures.

GLB and glTF are on Plus and above; DXF, DWG, and SKP require Creator, Project Pass, Studio, or Business. These are file handoffs rather than automatic synchronization with Blender, Revit, SketchUp, or another authoring tool. Check geometry, scale, units, orientation, and materials after import.

Export the model as USDZ, the format Apple documents for AR Quick Look, then open the file on an iPhone or iPad. USDZ export is available on Plus and above.

USDZ carries static meshes and materials, not custom Apple AR interactions. Check the reported scale status and two independent dimensions against reliable plans before trusting the model's apparent size in AR.

You can export STL or 3MF, the two formats slicers read, on Plus and above. What you get is a conceptual reconstruction rather than a print-ready mesh.

Check wall thickness, watertightness, the base size and the scale you slice at before printing. Lossy conversions report their downgrades, and a small model of a whole floor usually needs thicker walls to survive handling.

• 3D print a floor plan model

GLB export can use the canonical model, a preserved original or the pinned saved presentation, depending on what the receiving workflow needs. A photoreal result also offers the exact source GLB tied to its captured revision.

Canonical JSON preserves structured project data, while CSV and XLSX make tabular review easier. IFC4 carries canonical rooms, walls, openings and properties. PNG, JPEG and WebP export plan or 3D views for documents, websites and presentations.

A room-map JSON can describe room boundaries and doorway connections without becoming a printable plan.

DWG is a layered 2D canonical plan. SKP carries a mesh model without parametric round-trip or app-certified fidelity. IFC4 carries canonical room, wall, opening and property semantics without becoming a native Revit model or engineering model. STEP AP214 contains faceted BREP surfaces without parametric history. USDZ contains static meshes and materials rather than an Apple AR experience.

Lossy conversions report their downgrades, and STL or 3MF files need print-readiness checks. The library does not create video, a native CAD or BIM round trip, construction documents or engineering validation.

Compare a pre-construction home with the developer's floor plan, test whether the furniture you own belongs in the rooms and examine finish directions before committing. Verify contract areas, existing conditions and critical dimensions through the appropriate documents and site measurements.

• Buying a pre-construction home

Use the model to test beds, luggage, dining, work and storage in the available footprint, then make a visualization of the proposed setup. It does not manage bookings, publish to an OTA, set occupancy or forecast revenue.

• Plan a short-term rental

Create one project per room or suite type, compare bed, desk, seating, storage and luggage layouts, and carry the chosen revision into the next review. Brand, accessibility, egress and procurement compliance remain separate professional work.

• Plan a hotel room type

A prospect can open the public model beyond a fixed listing image. A source-linked visualization can show a proposed furnishing direction, while availability, certified area, inclusions, pricing and contractual terms remain in the sales or lease documents.

• Show housing unit types

Share comparable Design Options, a public navigable model, or a generated image beside its captured source view. When the next tool needs a file, the project creator can use the 20-format export library before publishing the project.

You can inspect and edit the 3D model behind a presentation. The project keeps its source plan, furniture and finish options, captured views, generated images and exported revisions together.
