What these conditions cover

When we say “the service” we mean INK TO BRICK: the website and the application that let you upload floorplans and related drawings, generate and edit 3D models and proposals from them, export results, and optionally publish projects and a profile for others to view. When we say “you” we mean the person using the service and, where you act on behalf of an organization, that organization. You can contact us at support@inktobrick.com.

These conditions include limits on warranties and liability, described below. Not enforcing a condition on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it on another occasion.

Account and workspace terms

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may sign in with Google or with an email-based sign-in code. Do not share sign-in codes or grant unauthorized access to your account.

You must be authorized to use any workspace you join and to act on behalf of any person or organization whose content you upload or publish. You are responsible for what you do in the service and for what you let others do with your access. You are not responsible for activity carried out by someone else without your authorization and outside your control. If you think your account or workspace has been used without your authorization, tell us at support@inktobrick.com so access can be secured.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to upload content you do not have the right to use, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with the service or with other users' workspaces, to attempt to access accounts, projects, or data without authorization, to probe or circumvent security controls without authorization, or to use the service in a way that breaks applicable law. You also agree not to let anyone else do those things with your access.

Stopping, suspension, and termination

You can stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by writing to support@inktobrick.com. Export the project files you need before requesting closure. Available export and deletion controls depend on your workspace permissions. Contact support for requests those controls do not cover.

Specific records may need to be retained for a legal hold or another legal obligation, and copies may remain in backups until their retention cycle ends. Retention and deletion remain subject to applicable law and the rights described in our privacy policy.

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to an account or workspace where that is necessary to investigate or stop abuse, to protect the service and other users, to address a security issue, to respond to a credible claim of infringement, to act on a breach of these conditions, or to meet a legal obligation. We will keep any restriction to what the situation requires and, where it is reasonable to do so, tell you what happened and why.

Changes to the service

The service is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may temporarily or permanently discontinue part of the service. Where a change would remove something you rely on, we will give notice appropriate to the change and to any agreement we have with you. We do not promise that any particular feature, model, format, or export will remain available.

Availability, security, and privacy

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as it is and as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, there is no service-level commitment. We may temporarily limit usage that threatens the stability of the service for others.

We take measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit over the public internet and access controls on our systems. No service is perfectly secure, and we do not guarantee that your data cannot be accessed, altered, or lost through circumstances outside our control.

When you use the service you entrust us with your data. What we collect, why, and who processes it is described in our privacy policy, and we handle personal data as set out there.

Copyright and content ownership

You keep the rights you already hold in the drawings, images, files, and other content you upload. These conditions do not transfer those rights to us and do not give us ownership of your content. You confirm that you hold the rights or permission needed to upload and use each file, including any third-party drawing or reference material inside it.

To provide the features you ask for, you give us a nonexclusive license to host, store, process, and display your content, and to have the providers that run the service do the same on our behalf, and to make it visible to the collaborators you invite or the audience you choose when you publish. That permission covers only what those features need, such as normalizing an uploaded plan, generating a proposal, rendering a model, or serving a page you asked us to publish. It is not a license for unrelated purposes, and it is not a general permission to use your content for research or to train general-purpose AI models. Uploading a plan does not grant that permission. Our handling of personal data and use of service providers are described in our privacy policy.

We do not undertake to review every item of content. We may refuse or remove content where it appears to infringe someone's rights, breaks these conditions, or creates a legal or security problem. If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, write to support@inktobrick.com with enough detail to identify the content and your claim.

We or our licensors own the service itself, including its software, interface, and brand, except for the open-source and third-party components it uses, which stay under their own licenses. Using the service gives you no ownership of it. Please do not copy or reuse the interface or use our name or logo to suggest an endorsement or affiliation we have not given; ask us first.

Publishing projects and profiles

Publishing a project or profile is a choice you make in your project or profile settings. If you publish, the selected model, your public title and summary, your public profile fields, any labels you select, and the supported public interactions become visible to anyone who can reach the public page; optional fields such as location are included only if you choose to include them. Your source drawings and private generated-image gallery are not included in a public project page.

Published models are delivered to visitors' browsers and can be viewed, copied, or downloaded by anyone who reaches the page. Unpublishing removes a project or profile from the service's public pages, but copies that visitors, search engines, or caches made before you unpublish may continue to exist outside our control.

Features, output, and their limits

Conceptual model only. Not a survey or construction document.

Models, proposals, renders, and other output are conceptual aids based on the input you provide and on automated processing, including AI-assisted reconstruction and rendering. They are not drawings for permitting or building, and they are not architectural, engineering, surveying, or other regulated professional advice. We make no construction, engineering, or compliance guarantee. Verify every dimension and measurement independently, and check safety requirements, building codes, and permits with qualified professionals and the authority that has jurisdiction before relying on anything from the service.

The service and its output can contain errors, omissions, and approximations. We do not guarantee that the service will meet every requirement or that every reported issue will be corrected.

We cannot promise that you own, or can claim exclusive rights in, the projects, models, renders, and exports the service generates. Output is produced by automated systems from your input together with models, components, and assets licensed from others, so it may contain or resemble third-party or licensed material. Similar input can produce similar output for different users, so output is not guaranteed to be unique, and depending on where you are it may not qualify for copyright protection at all. Between you and us, we do not claim ownership of your projects and you may use generated output for your own purposes under these conditions, but we cannot grant rights we do not hold, and your use of output remains subject to the rights of others. If output matters commercially, take your own advice about the rights in it before you rely on it.

Third parties

The service runs on third-party providers, including cloud hosting and storage, Google for authentication, Resend for transactional email, AI processing providers for the reconstruction and rendering features you request, and, where you consent to them, analytics providers. We choose those providers and remain answerable for our own service and for the obligations applicable law places on us when we use them, including our privacy obligations. We do not control their networks and cannot promise that they will always be available or uninterrupted, and we are not responsible for services you reach through links or integrations that are not ours.

We handle data received from Google APIs in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. That policy binds us as the developer of this app; it is not a condition imposed on you. Signing in with Google is also covered by your own agreement with Google.

Liability

To the extent applicable law allows, the service is provided as it is and as available without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or lost profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. These limits do not remove obligations applicable law places on our handling of personal data or use of service providers.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud, and nothing here removes rights or remedies that consumer or other mandatory law gives you. Where a limit above goes further than the law allows, it applies only as far as the law allows.

Changes to these conditions and questions

We may update these conditions as the service changes. Each version carries the date shown at the top of this page, and changes apply going forward rather than retroactively to use that has already happened. Changing that date is a record of the update, not a substitute for telling you about it.

A material change takes effect after we give notice appropriate to the change, and where applicable law requires your agreement to a change, it takes effect for you once you agree rather than through silence.
