What happens when you upload the plan
Create a project with a neutral name, such as “Living room proposal A.” A published title is public, so leave the client’s name and private address out of it. Upload one floor plan: PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVG or DXF, up to 25 MB, one file at a time. Review the reconstructed model and check its dimensions.
Review directions and edit the proposal
Keep a baseline Design Option for comparison and edit the proposal in another option. The manual editor can change conceptual walls, doors and windows on the same canvas as chat; furniture, finishes and lighting can vary too. Compare each difference with the separate source drawing and verify any physical change before building.
What to check before you show it
A brochure plan may be simplified, and an old drawing may not reflect later alterations. Check the reported scale status and two independent dimensions against a reliable source. Check critical dimensions on site before your client orders.
The drawing is usually not yours, so confirm permission before uploading it. Uploads stay in the project they create, the upload consents cover design processing and client collaboration, and research use is off. Your floor plan and your model sets out the rest.
Choose private review or public presentation
For private client review, create a view link from a saved revision and choose the alternatives to include. Clients can open it without an account and leave notes when you enable them. Record replies, resolved notes and the agreed direction on the link. Core, Pro and Team add client links where the client picks an option. Later changes need a new saved version and a new link; existing links keep their expiry and can be revoked. Recipients can forward a link or copy a downloaded file, so agree on what may be shared.
Presenting the proposal
Review the reconstructed conditions against the separate original drawing and keep a baseline design option. The AI editor and the manual editor edit the same model. Put the proposal in another option, compare its geometry, furniture and finishes with the baseline, and confirm the saved state before sharing.
Current-view photoreal generation uses the captured camera, scene and materials as its source and keeps the result separate from the 3D model. Compare the generated image with its source view before using it in the presentation. The private gallery links each image to its captured source view and exact source GLB. Publishing a model release remains separate from that private gallery.
For an intentionally public presentation, save a draft, refresh the private preview, then publish the release and profile. The release produces a GLB and a thumbnail, and the public project page carries the project name, your summary, the finish and furniture labels, the space count, and the approximate overall dimensions in a disclosure under the model. Anyone can open that link without an account, rotate the model and download the GLB. The thumbnail is the file that drops into a slide deck; the GLB needs something that can open it. Read a published page on the public showcase.
Review the public title, summary, and saved release before publishing. Anyone can open or copy the published model; sending the link only to your client does not restrict access. Input and Normalized floor plan images stay private unless you explicitly include them in a published release. The private image gallery is not published as a whole.
Access and downloadable files
You see your home in 3D before you pay; editing it needs a plan. Replacement builds from a materially revised source count as new builds. A failed build goes back to your monthly builds; supported corrective rebuilds follow their own availability and limits. Design controls and export formats vary by plan. The project creator or an assigned customer Editor with an available seat can use the export library, and only while the project is nonpublic.
From a saved or compiled revision, download the model as GLB and its JSON room map of boundaries and doorway connections. The pricing page explains current access.
What the example demonstrates
The building the duplex story is an authored sample, modeled by hand to show editing, views and presentation. Use its walkthrough to choose the questions your arrangement must answer; fidelity is checked against your source and real space.
Your next decision
Present two options with the same furniture dimensions and camera. Record the client’s choice as a saved revision before creating the image or exporting the handoff.
Guided shows common tasks and Expert exposes direct controls on the same canvas. Assistant changes require an available allowance. The drawing remains the reconstruction reference. The account, editor and billing application currently use English.
