There are three ways to let someone else see your home: work on it together inside your workspace, send a view link that asks one question, or publish it on your public profile for anyone to open.
Work together in your workspace
Everyone with access to the project can open the same design in the editor. The Sharing section of the Settings tab says so under Project members, and shows whether a public release of the project is live.
Ask for a second opinion with a view link
- In the Project tab, choose Share this design. The Share page opens with the version you last saved already filled in as the revision the link shows.
- Write the question you want answered.
- Choose how long the link lasts: 7 days, 14 days and 30 days. It starts at 14.
- Choose Mint link, then Copy link. Copy it straight away: the link is shown only once.
Whoever opens the link sees your question, the plan for that one revision with its stamped dimensions, and a summary of the plan. Everything is read-only. They can answer in Reply as a human, about the whole plan or about one room, wall, opening or fixture, and the replies arrive on the Share page under each link.
Publish on your public profile
In the Sharing section of the Settings tab, choose Manage public release. The publication page takes three steps:
- Save the details: a public title, a URL name and an optional summary. The URL name locks the first time you publish.
- Check the preview, which is exactly what visitors will see.
- Choose Publish project and confirm. The project appears on your profile and on Explore right away.
Visitors see the title, your profile name, the 3D model, public comments and activity counts. Addresses, source files, collaborators, prices, billing and internal records stay private. Show on the Explore map adds an approximate location only; the address is never shown.
Keep a publication up to date
A published project does not change when you keep editing. To show newer work, choose Publish updated release on the publication page, check the preview and confirm.
Or turn on Keep the public page in sync with my latest edits. From then on, each finished build of your latest edits replaces the public version on its own. Turn it off to go back to reviewing each release first.
Take a project down
On the publication page, choose Unpublish to edit details and confirm to take the project off your profile. Keeping a project private, unpublishing it and the sync switch are on the Plus, Creator, Studio, Business and Project Pass plans. On other plans every finished build is public, and the project cannot be taken down.
