Your floorplan and your model

The source file and the project are different

A floorplan upload is stored with its workspace project. The upload route records consent for proposal generation and client collaboration; research and training use stays off. The source drawing is not included on the public project page.

Worth checkingOnly upload a floorplan you have permission to use. A developer’s brochure or an architect’s drawing may remain somebody else’s work even when it describes your property.

Free is for public projects.

Free includes one lifetime import and one editor for a public project. Choose a paid plan if the project needs to stay private. A public page shows the model and selected project details, not the original uploaded floorplan. Review the model and public details before sharing them.

Shown on a public page

• Project title, summary and profile information
• The navigable model, thumbnail, space count and approximate model dimensions
• Selected finish and furniture labels
• Images explicitly selected for the published release
• Public comments, upvotes and other supported visitor activity
• Location or map discovery fields only when the project opts into those public controls
• Conceptual model only. Not a survey or construction document.

Kept outside the public page

• The uploaded source drawing
• The private generated-image gallery and its captured source views
• Collaborator, membership, billing and entitlement records
• Internal processing evidence, confidence records, storage keys and signed URLs
• Commercial records such as quotes, prices, bills of materials and approvals

Worth checkingA public viewer sends model data to the visitor’s browser, where it can be copied. Screenshots, downloaded files, search results and cached copies can also remain outside the project’s controls. Do not use a public model as access control for sensitive geometry.

Copies you can take with you

Workspace settings can download a private JSON record of project, upload and consent references. The export library supports 20 formats: SVG, scaled PDF, layered 2D DXF and DWG plans; GLB, packaged glTF, OBJ, COLLADA, binary STL, 3MF, SKP, IFC, STEP and USDZ models; canonical JSON, CSV and XLSX data; and PNG, JPEG and WebP plan or 3D views.

The project creator or an assigned customer Editor with an available seat can use the export library, and only while the project is nonpublic. Available formats also depend on the plan. Public projects cannot use the library, although their regular public-viewer GLB remains available. The Free plan does not include access to the export library.

DWG is a layered 2D canonical plan. SKP carries meshes, materials and textures without parametric round-trip or app-certified fidelity. IFC4 carries canonical rooms, walls, openings and properties, not native Revit or engineering data. STEP AP214 contains faceted BREP surfaces without parametric history. USDZ contains static meshes and materials. Lossy conversions report their downgrades, STL and 3MF need print-readiness checks, and the library does not create video, construction documents or engineering validation.
