INK TO BRICK runs an MCP server, so an AI agent you already use, such as Codex, can read your floor plans: rooms, openings, measurements and the history of a design. The agent signs in as you and only sees the workspace you choose.
Check your plan
MCP access is part of the Plus, Creator, Studio, Business and Project Pass plans, with no separate credits. A Project Pass covers its one project. Settings, API and MCP integrations shows what the selected workspace can use.
Add the server to your agent
Add a streamable HTTP MCP server with this address: https://mcp.inktobrick.com/mcp. There is no API key to paste: the agent signs in with OAuth and registers itself.
Connect Codex with MCP has the exact commands for Codex, one to add the server and one to sign in.
Sign in and approve read access
- Run your agent’s sign-in step. Your browser opens INK TO BRICK.
- Sign in and choose the workspace the agent may read.
- Review the access it asks for and allow it:

Point it at a project
The server does not list your projects. Give the agent the project ID from the project’s address, then ask it about rooms, openings, measurements or what changed between versions. MCP floorplan workflows has questions worth asking.
Allow edits, if you want them
New connections can only read. To let the agent prepare edits or choose between design options, sign in again and approve lodnor.design-option.write and lodnor.design-option.select. Each supported change still shows a preview and waits for your confirmation before it is applied.
Know what it cannot do
The MCP server works with homes that already exist. It does not upload plans, export files or control Blender. Upload and export in the web app; to script Blender, download a GLB and follow Floorplan to Blender.
