Casa Umbral is the editorial name for this study of ResPlan plan 11381, reconstructed in 3D by Lodnor. The kitchen and living area share the full width of the plan, with a single bedroom and a narrower bathroom beside one another beyond them. The bedroom opens directly from the living area, without a separate hall.

One broad room, two smaller destinations

The broad kitchen–living room is the organizing space at Casa Umbral. Its continuity contrasts with the bedroom and narrower bathroom beyond it. Read those different widths together: a generous shared room does not necessarily imply equal generosity at the private-room thresholds.

At approximately 6.48 × 7.81 m across its model bounds, this reconstruction gives a scale for comparing the room relationships. Multiplying those figures would describe a bounding rectangle rather than verified usable area, and the displayed furniture does not establish clearance.

A bedroom reached through the living room

Because the bedroom opens directly from the living area, the seating arrangement also determines the everyday approach to sleep. A sofa can define a comfortable gathering place while still directing people toward that doorway. Avoid treating its rear edge as leftover storage space.

Give the doorway its own breathing room

The useful design choice is where the shared room changes from a destination into a route. Consider keeping the bedroom approach visually legible, with dining and sitting footprints away from its opening. This is a planning proposal, not confirmation that the illustrated furniture fits.

Review the route after a chair moves

In the interactive model, locate the bedroom opening and trace its connection to the kitchen. Sketch a dining chair pulled back, then repeat the route past the seating. Identify which furniture edge would become the bottleneck and which dimension would settle the question.

The useful comparison is the bedroom approach before and after the chair moves; verify the smallest remaining passage rather than the shared room’s full width.
