Casa Andén is the editorial name for this study of ResPlan plan 5741, reconstructed in 3D by Lodnor. Two bedrooms share one side of the plan, separated by a narrow bathroom. A long living room occupies the other side, with a recessed connecting passage leading to the kitchen and an unlabeled alcove.

A long shared side beside divided rooms

At Casa Andén, the long living room contrasts with two bedrooms and the narrow bathroom between them. This side-by-side arrangement makes the shared room feel like the continuous element of the plan, while the opposite side is broken into smaller destinations with distinct boundaries.

The reconstructed envelope is approximately 8.96 × 8.66 m, using the public model’s width and depth. Keep that overall scale separate from bedroom width, passage clearance and furniture size: each needs its own check against a dimensioned source or a site measurement.

The recess changes the way you approach

The connecting passage is recessed rather than simply aligned with the long room. It leads toward the kitchen and an unlabeled alcove. Follow that shift in direction carefully: an alcove beside a passage can look available for furniture even when its approach is doing important circulation work.

Do not let a proposed alcove use hide the route

A reading chair or storage unit in the alcove is a design suggestion, not a source-established feature. Start by identifying its relationship to the kitchen approach. Give the living room a coherent seating area without pushing overflow furniture into the recessed connector by default.

Review the recess from the kitchen side

In the model, find the unlabeled alcove and draw a hypothetical chair footprint. Trace the kitchen approach from the long living room, then look back along it. Decide which part of the recess actually accommodates the chair and which part must remain a connection.

A successful alcove proposal must preserve the recessed kitchen approach; an attractive chair view does not establish that someone can comfortably pass the chair in use.
