Casa Nodo is the editorial name for this study of ResPlan plan 6793, reconstructed in 3D by Lodnor. The kitchen occupies the center of this one-bedroom plan, with doorways to the living room, bedroom, and both bathrooms. The bedroom stops short of the kitchen and living rooms, leaving a notch in the outer edge.

The kitchen is also a distributor

Casa Nodo places the kitchen at the center of the connections: separate doorways reach the living room, bedroom and both bathrooms. This is a different planning problem from an open kitchen at a room’s edge. The working space has to accommodate several routes as well as cooking.

The reconstructed envelope is approximately 9.86 × 5.02 m, using the public model’s width and depth. Keep that overall scale separate from bedroom width, passage clearance and furniture size: each needs its own check against a dimensioned source or a site measurement.

Four doorways compete with counter space

Trace the path between the living room and bedroom through the central kitchen, then find the bathroom openings. Doorways reduce the uninterrupted edges available for furniture or counters. Their number alone does not show congestion, but it identifies where a furnishing proposal needs more careful clearance checks.

Keep the exterior notch in perspective

The bedroom ends short of the kitchen and living room, producing a notch in the footprint. Preserve that shape when comparing arrangements, but do not label the missing rectangle as a balcony. For the interior proposal, prioritize the kitchen’s working and passing zones over making the outline look regular.

Map passage and cooking on one screenshot

Mark all four kitchen doorways on an overhead screenshot. Add a hypothetical work position beside a counter and draw living-to-bedroom and living-to-bathroom trips. The exercise is to identify whether the proposed work position lies in the route, not to assume the counters are measured.

The central kitchen’s four openings are the reason for the exercise; the proposed working position should be checked against each rather than assuming one clear aisle settles everything.
