Casa Encuentro: two-bedroom layout around a central bathroom passage
Explore Casa Encuentro, a study of ResPlan plan 16838: two-bedroom layout around a central bathroom passage.
Casa Encuentro is the editorial name for this study of ResPlan plan 16838, reconstructed in 3D by Lodnor. The bedrooms flank a bathroom and short central passage across one side of the plan. The living room and kitchen occupy the other side, joined around the end of a partial dividing wall.
Private rooms share one organizing side
Casa Encuentro puts the bedrooms on either side of a bathroom and short passage. The kitchen and living room occupy the other side. Read the plan as two different bands: divided sleeping rooms beside shared space whose separation depends on a partial wall rather than complete enclosure.
The published width and depth are approximately 9.21 × 7.58 m. They help place this arrangement in context, but include the outer model bounds. They cannot establish net living area, a verified wall thickness or the space left beside an actual bed.

Two connectors need to remain visible
Movement between the kitchen and living room turns around the partial wall’s end. Movement toward the bedrooms uses the short bathroom passage. These are related but separate checks. A table that leaves the kitchen turn clear can still obstruct the approach to the private-room band.
Do not make the partial wall do every job
The partial wall can help orient a proposed dining or seating zone, but it cannot establish acoustic privacy or measured clearance. Use its end as a reference for the circulation. Avoid positioning both dining and storage there simply because it offers a convenient visual boundary.
Compare the two thresholds with chairs in use
Find the wall end and the short passage in the interactive cutaway. Sketch a dining arrangement between them, then pull its chairs back on the screenshot. Check the route between kitchen and living room and the route toward both bedroom doors as separate journeys.
Keep the wall-end turn and bedroom passage as separate checkpoints, since a dining arrangement can improve one connection while borrowing space from the other.
