Casa Contorno is the editorial name for this study of ResPlan plan 338, reconstructed in 3D by Lodnor. A long living area opens broadly into the kitchen, with bedrooms at opposite corners around the shared space. The two bathrooms sit beside the upper bedroom, one below a recess that gives the kitchen side a stepped outline.

A broad interior opening inside a stepped outline

Casa Contorno combines a long living area with a broad kitchen opening, framed by opposite-corner bedrooms. The bathroom pair sits beside the upper bedroom, and one bay lies below a recess on the kitchen side. The interior connection is open even though the outer envelope changes alignment.

At approximately 8.98 × 7.56 m across its model bounds, this reconstruction gives a scale for comparing the room relationships. Multiplying those figures would describe a bounding rectangle rather than verified usable area, and the displayed furniture does not establish clearance.

The kitchen opening meets diagonal bedroom routes

The diagonal bedroom positions send separate routes toward the shared zone. The kitchen opening can accommodate those journeys only if the proposed dining or working footprints leave room. Follow the bathroom cluster approach as well; it is concentrated near one bedroom rather than repeated evenly at both corners.

Let the edge change inform the proposal

The kitchen-side step is a real outline feature in this reconstruction, not confirmation of a balcony or extension opportunity. Use the actual kitchen edge when comparing a table position. The long living room may offer alternatives that preserve the broad connection more effectively than crowding the stepped side.

Compare dining beside the step and along the living room

Find the kitchen-side recess and bathroom pair. Sketch a dining table near the stepped edge, then along the long living area. Trace both bedroom approaches and the trip to the bathroom cluster with a chair in use, identifying which option preserves the broad kitchen connection.

The longer living area offers an alternative to the stepped kitchen edge; compare both before deciding that the bathroom-side recess determines the only possible dining position.
