Casa Nicho is the editorial name for this study of ResPlan plan 3517, reconstructed in 3D by Lodnor. Two bedrooms line one side, with a narrow bathroom between them and a small recess at the outer edge. The kitchen and living room form the other side, joined to a short central passage beside a second bathroom and an unlabeled alcove.

A narrow bedroom side and an unresolved alcove

Casa Nicho lines up two bedrooms with a narrow bathroom between them and a small edge recess. Kitchen and living room form the opposite side. Near the short central passage, a second bathroom sits beside an unlabeled alcove, whose function should remain open rather than becoming an invented study or laundry room.

The public model reports an approximate overall width and depth of 7.44 × 8.51 m. Those are model bounds, not internal room measurements or a usable floor-area calculation; recesses and wall thickness make that distinction relevant here.

The alcove belongs in the circulation discussion

The short passage connects the shared rooms and neighboring destinations. The alcove beside it can appear like a convenient place for leftover furniture, but its approach may be part of that connection. Trace movement around the second bathroom and into the bedroom side before assigning the alcove any new use.

Choose one hypothetical use and test its footprint

A small work surface, storage cabinet or reading seat would make different demands on the alcove. Pick one option for a concrete review instead of calling it generally multifunctional. Keep the source label unchanged and distinguish the activity footprint from the clear floor required to reach it.

Test the alcove with its user included

Locate the unlabeled alcove and sketch a reading chair plus space for someone standing up. Trace kitchen-to-living and bedroom-to-bathroom trips past the proposal. Compare the alcove left clear, identifying whether the chair creates a useful destination or consumes the short passage’s turning space.

The alcove stays unlabeled in the source, even if the reading-chair test is promising; its occupied footprint must preserve the short passage and adjoining bathroom approach.
