Casa Verbena: Two-bedroom plan with a recessed living-room edge
Two-bedroom plan with a recessed living-room edge. A layout study from ResPlan 2132.
Casa Verbena is the editorial name for this two-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 2132. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Verbena layout
The living area fills one side and extends into a central recess between the kitchen and a bathroom bay. Two bedrooms are stacked along the opposite side, with another bathroom beside the lower bedroom.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 11.632 × 8.039 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
The living-room recess gives Casa Verbena a center that is not simply leftover floor. It sits between the kitchen and bathroom bay, so an apparently convenient reading chair could compete with access. The stacked bedrooms add a second set of trips across the living side. Check whether those trips converge in the recess before assigning it a fixed activity.
A furniture decision to compare
An irregular living edge can accommodate a small secondary arrangement, but only after its circulation role is clear. Study a shallow storage piece against the recessed wall instead of immediately adding deep seating. The bathroom beside the lower bedroom should stay distinguishable from the central bathroom bay; their positions create different local constraints even when their modeled finishes look similar.
Review exercise: Casa Verbena
Rotate the model until the recess is visible between its two neighboring bays. Trace access to the kitchen, central bathroom and both bedrooms. Now imagine the same shallow cabinet and a deeper armchair in that recess, one at a time. Compare which routes each footprint interferes with, and leave the proposed use undecided if the doorway geometry remains unclear.
