Casa Núcleo Abierto: Two bedrooms flanking an open kitchen–living core
Two bedrooms flanking an open kitchen–living core. A layout study from ResPlan 11698.
Casa Núcleo Abierto is the editorial name for this two-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 11698. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Núcleo Abierto layout
The bedrooms sit at either side of a broad central living area, each with a bathroom above it in the drawing. The kitchen joins the living area across an open upper band, without a complete dividing wall.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 12.285 × 7.21 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
The central shared room distributes movement toward both bedroom sides. Casa Núcleo Abierto therefore needs two readable approaches even if one furniture group becomes the visual center. The open kitchen band also puts cooking and crossing in contact. Inspect the junctions at each end of that band rather than assuming an uninterrupted floor automatically supports unrestricted movement.
A furniture decision to compare
This arrangement allows a shared focal point without placing the bedrooms together on one edge. Study a dining table related to the kitchen band and a seating group that leaves both lateral approaches readable. The bathrooms above the bedrooms in the drawing can suggest a balanced composition, but their position does not show matching access, dimensions or private use.
Review exercise: Casa Núcleo Abierto
Keep the kitchen band fixed as your reference and trace one route to each bedroom side. Compare a centered seating group with one shifted away from the busier junction. Use the same furniture footprints in both sketches. Finally inspect bathroom doorways separately, recording any difference between visual balance in plan and actual modeled access.
