Casa Costa Clara: Two-bedroom cutaway with a projecting bathroom bay
Two-bedroom cutaway with a projecting bathroom bay. A layout study from ResPlan 7038.
Casa Costa Clara is the editorial name for this two-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 7038. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Costa Clara layout
Two bedrooms occupy one side of the living area, with a bathroom projecting beside the lower room. A second bathroom and the enclosed kitchen sit across the upper part of the plan, joined by a short passage below a shallow exterior recess.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 11.222 × 7.031 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
The short upper passage serves a different part of Casa Costa Clara from the bathroom projection below. Trace both ends of the layout before arranging the central living area. Movement toward the enclosed kitchen and upper bathroom gathers near the shallow recess, while the projecting lower bath changes the local room edge beside the lower bedroom.
A furniture decision to compare
A projecting bathroom bay can look like a detachable extra volume in an axonometric image, but it remains part of the plan’s room structure. Keep it in any comparison of bedroom-side storage or circulation. At the upper side, assess dining relative to the kitchen doorway and short passage instead of placing a table merely at the visual center of the overall outline.
Review exercise: Casa Costa Clara
Compare the living-to-kitchen trip with the living-to-lower-bathroom trip. Mark their turns on a plan image, including the shallow upper recess and lower projection. Introduce one hypothetical storage piece near each turn, separately. Record which destination becomes harder to reach and whether the apparent conflict comes from furniture depth or the room outline itself.
