Casa Remanso: Two-bedroom plan with stacked bathrooms beside a corner kitchen
Two-bedroom plan with stacked bathrooms beside a corner kitchen. A layout study from ResPlan 14596.
Casa Remanso is the editorial name for this two-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 14596. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Remanso layout
Two bedrooms share one side, with the living room occupying the upper opposite corner. A short passage reaches the kitchen beyond two stacked bathroom bays, creating an irregular lower outline around the kitchen corner.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 10.302 × 9.15 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
The kitchen is reached beyond the stacked bathroom bays in Casa Remanso. That makes the short passage a carrying route as well as a connection between room groups. Read it from the living corner to the kitchen and back. A furniture arrangement that seems distant from cooking may still interfere at the point where this passage joins the living area.
A furniture decision to compare
The irregular lower outline gives the kitchen a distinct corner rather than a share of one rectangular living room. Keep that shape when considering a dining position in the upper social area. Bringing a table closer to the passage might reduce carrying distance, but the comparison must include bathroom access and the turn into the kitchen, not distance alone.
Review exercise: Casa Remanso
Choose two hypothetical table locations in the living area, one near the passage and one farther into the corner. Trace the route carrying a meal from the kitchen to each, then add bathroom destinations along the way. Compare where a chair in use would narrow the route. Keep the lower kitchen outline visible to avoid simplifying away the final turn.
