Casa Dos Salientes: Two-bedroom plan with paired upper projections
Two-bedroom plan with paired upper projections. A layout study from ResPlan 15388.
Casa Dos Salientes is the editorial name for this two-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 15388. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Dos Salientes layout
Two bedrooms occupy the upper side of the drawing, each extending into a small rectangular projection. A bathroom lies between them, while the living area below connects to the kitchen and a second bathroom stacked along the side.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 9.885 × 8.106 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
The small bedroom projections draw attention in Casa Dos Salientes, but circulation is organized by the lower shared room and the bathroom between the bedrooms. Trace access before assigning a use to the protruding spaces. The side kitchen-and-bathroom stack adds a different approach from the bedroom row, so the living room’s side and upper edges need independent checks.
A furniture decision to compare
A projection can suggest a storage or study nook, yet its geometry alone does not show usable furniture depth or window position. Compare those ideas as hypotheses within each bedroom, keeping the main sleeping footprint separate. In the shared area, favor a furniture arrangement that leaves the side kitchen approach legible and does not frame the central bathroom door as part of the seating group.
Review exercise: Casa Dos Salientes
Zoom out to see both bedroom projections, then inspect each from above. Compare a hypothetical shallow desk footprint with leaving the projection open, without adding a window assumption. Return to the living room and trace kitchen-to-bedroom movement. Record separately what the projection might accommodate and what the shared circulation actually requires.
