Casa Alborada: Three-bedroom plan with an offset lower kitchen
Three-bedroom plan with an offset lower kitchen. A layout study from ResPlan 313.
Casa Alborada is the editorial name for this three-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 313. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Alborada layout
A living area turns between three bedrooms and a kitchen projecting from the lower side. One bathroom sits between the upper bedrooms below an exterior recess, while a second forms a narrow side bay above the main living area.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 9.049 × 10.15 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
Casa Alborada organizes its shared movement around a lower projecting kitchen. Trace from that bay into the turning living area and onward to each bedroom, rather than assuming the kitchen belongs to an upper room row. The bathroom between upper bedrooms and the narrow side bathroom sit on different branches. Both need checking after the main living turn is understood.
A furniture decision to compare
A dining table near the lower kitchen can shorten serving movement while leaving more of the central living floor for distribution. Compare it with a table nearer the center rather than declaring either preferable in advance. Keep the upper recess visible and distinguish it from the central bathroom footprint: the gap is not extra indoor space available to balance the lower kitchen projection.
Review exercise: Casa Alborada
Trace three trips from the projecting kitchen into the bedroom branches. Compare a table near the kitchen with the same table nearer the living center, pulling a chair back in both. Add the two bathroom trips and mark any new conflict. Inspect the upper recess from plan view to confirm that none of your proposed paths has crossed exterior floor.
