Casa Bajo las Esquinas: Two bedrooms over a broad living zone and corner kitchen

Two bedrooms over a broad living zone and corner kitchen. A layout study from ResPlan 198.

Casa Bajo las Esquinas is the editorial name for this two-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 198. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.

Reading the Casa Bajo las Esquinas layout

Two bedrooms form the upper corners, with paired bathrooms and small connecting spaces between them. The living room occupies most of the lower band and opens around a partial wall into the corner kitchen.

The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 10.66 × 8.353 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

Rotate the Casa Bajo las Esquinas study to inspect the connections described here. Compare the plan shape before checking thresholds, keeping the uncertainties noted in this story visible.

How the room routes connect

The partial kitchen wall gives Casa Bajo las Esquinas a turn within an otherwise broad shared zone. Identify the end of that wall before following movement toward the upper bedroom group. The small connecting spaces between the two bedrooms matter as destinations and junctions, even when they are less prominent than the large living-room floor in an oblique image.

A furniture decision to compare

A corner kitchen with a partial divider can support a dining proposal near the divider’s end, but that same position can crowd the turn. Compare furniture relative to the wall, not only the room center. The bedrooms’ corner positions suggest separation in the drawing; they do not establish acoustic privacy or prove that the bathrooms are exclusive to each bedroom.

Review exercise: Casa Bajo las Esquinas

Rotate until the partial wall and both upper bedroom corners appear together. Trace kitchen-to-bedroom paths around the wall end. Imagine a table first near that end, then farther down the living band, keeping its dimensions constant. Record the change in turning room and whether either placement obscures access to the small central connecting spaces.
