Casa Rincón: Three-bedroom plan with a projecting kitchen and living alcove
Three-bedroom plan with a projecting kitchen and living alcove. A layout study from ResPlan 16504.
Casa Rincón is the editorial name for this three-bedroom layout study based on ResPlan 16504. The public tour offers a way to inspect room connections and boundaries; the name does not identify a built residence or commissioned renovation.
Reading the Casa Rincón layout
The living area opens into an upper alcove beside the kitchen, which projects from the outer edge. Two bedrooms share one side and the third occupies the lower opposite corner, with two bathrooms grouped beside the upper bedroom.
The public model reports an approximate overall envelope of 11.259 × 7.238 m, with a modeled height of 3 m. These figures describe the reconstruction, not usable floor area, individual room dimensions or a verified building survey.

How the room routes connect
The living alcove in Casa Rincón sits beside the projecting kitchen and therefore deserves a route check before it becomes a reading or dining nook. Trace kitchen-to-main-living movement and the branches toward three bedrooms. The two same-side bedrooms and third opposite-corner room create different journeys. The upper bathroom pair adds another local reason to keep the alcove’s edge readable.
A furniture decision to compare
An alcove can support a secondary activity without making it a separate enclosed room. Compare light furniture held within it with a deeper group that reaches into the main living floor. Keep the kitchen projection visible during that comparison, because its approach may share the alcove boundary. Do not infer daylight or window views merely from the alcove’s position at the outer edge.
Review exercise: Casa Rincón
Mark the alcove boundary in an overhead view and trace kitchen-to-each-bedroom routes beside it. Imagine a compact movable chair fully inside the alcove, then a deeper seating group extending out. Compare route changes and inspect access to the upper bathroom pair separately. Label the suggested activity as a proposal, keeping it distinct from the source’s living-area geometry.
