Recognition is comparable, so test it on your drawing

Coohom accepts a CAD floor plan file or a PDF, PNG or JPG image, identifies walls, doors and windows, and asks for a known length or an expected building area to fix scale. It also offers a recognition range, rotation, and cleanup for watermarks, backgrounds, creases and perspective distortion, and it falls back to manual tracing when you clear Auto Generate Floorplan. Recognition alone is therefore not a reason to choose either tool.[1]

INK TO BRICK asks for the same kind of input, a PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVG or DXF, plus optional property context and up to 30 reference measurements. Without a known dimension the model stays conceptual and its absolute scale is unresolved. Check a second known length after conversion in whichever tool you pick, and look for missed windows, blocked doorways and rooms joined across a wall.[8]

Choose Coohom when interiors and presentation are the job

Coohom is built around interior work: materials and finishes, lighting, branded content on its paid plans, kitchen, bath and custom furniture tools with a quotation list, photoreal 360 panoramas and 720 virtual tours. If your deliverable is a furnished interior with a drawing set for the trades, that ecosystem is doing the work you need.[5][3]

INK TO BRICK works on a smaller surface: reconstruct the shell from a plan, save furniture and finish options against a locked existing-conditions revision, generate an image from the view you framed and publish an explorable model. Choose it when the reconstruction and the file that leaves the project matter more than catalog depth.[7]

A drawing set is not a model file

Coohom’s export help lists floor plans, gallery images, construction drawings in CAD, PDF or JPG for Elite users, and quotation lists in DOCX, XLSX or PDF for its enterprise tools. The same help center states that Coohom currently does not support exporting the whole model. A CAD drawing answers a documentation request; it does not give a visualization or BIM specialist the geometry.[2][3]

INK TO BRICK exports 20 formats from a saved revision: SVG and PDF plans, seven 3D models, JSON, CSV and XLSX data and PNG, JPEG or WebP images on Plus and above; DXF, DWG and SKP on Creator and above; IFC and STEP on Business. IFC carries rooms, walls, openings and properties rather than a complete engineering model, and STEP carries faceted surfaces without parametric history. Send a sample to the recipient before you commit the project.[6]

Two subscriptions and one unresolved price

Coohom advertises a free Basic plan and an Elite plan for small teams that share projects and a model library. Its published price is harder to pin down: on September 9, 2026 the pricing page served Spanish copy at its English address, its structured offer data named Basic, Pro, Elite and Enterprise, and the FAQ on the same page named Basic, Plus and Pro. Get a checkout quote for your own region before comparing cash. Note also that AIHom benefits are billed separately from Coohom, while credits and projects carry across both.[5][4]
