INK TO BRICK vs Kubikly: editable floor plans

Both products describe an editable space after plan recognition. Compare how you correct the source, continue with an existing model and pay for the finished result.[1][5]

Where each one fits

Choose INK TO BRICK if

You need drawings and existing model imports in the same project workflow, then saved layout alternatives and a model handoff.[5][6]

Choose Kubikly if

You want a plan-to-3D workflow with chat, manual editing and GLB or OBJ output. Its public sample lets you inspect the interface before signing up.[1]

Task by task

Price and accessYour first floor is built in 3D free. Pay to edit it and save. Floor packages start at USD 4.99; check paid export access.[4]One free generation after email verification; credits cover later generation, rendering and exports.[2]
Continue from a modelImport IFC or supported model files; native elements and imported objects have different editing controls.[6]The reviewed conversion page starts with a drawing and offers GLB/OBJ exports.[1]
Correct the layoutCorrect supported native walls and openings with chat or Expert controls on the same canvas.[5]Selected a wall in the saved Bohemia Mía project. Its properties exposed length, thickness, wall kind, move steps, openings and materials. Geometry changes were not submitted.[8]
Inspect before committingOpened the current public Bohemia Mía GLB in the local manual editor. Its materials loaded and object deletion, undo/redo and refresh recovery worked.[8]Inspected 3D and Plan in the authenticated editor. The model had significant partition and terrace-layout problems, while wall selection and properties worked.[8]

For an editable plan, inspect a wall operation and an opening operation. Drawing shows the running length; the door changes its swing within the same model. Use these specific tasks when comparing each tool’s documented controls.

Read the review and its test conditions

The demonstrations below use native elements in the INK TO BRICK sample duplex. They are separate from the imported Bohemia Mía GLB captures, which show model review, not native wall editing.

Walls, fences and columns

Draw walls corner by corner, control snapping and continuation, reshape a wall, and draw fences and columns.

The length follows the cursor until the next click fixes the wall.

Doors and windows

Place doors and windows on a wall, choose their type and size, flip them, and open and close them.

A useful test for a close alternative

Use one drawing with a known dimension. Correct an opening, revisit the saved version and open the exported model in its destination. Compare the time and operations needed to reach the same reviewed result. A walkable scene alone does not establish dimensional accuracy.

What we reviewed

The illustrated review covers the owner-provided saved project and the current published INK model loaded locally. It includes wall-property values and observed output counts, not a matched-source accuracy score. Kubikly chat, paid outputs and save/restore were not tested.[8]

Sources and scope

The cited vendor pages support the capability comparison. Any direct demo observation is identified in the article; this is not a matched-source accuracy benchmark. Product details can change. Unavailable sources are identified, and older claims are not treated as current limitations. Check the linked plan, price and export details.
