INK TO BRICK vs Pixalto: styled 3D-looking floor-plan images

Pixalto’s floor-plan tool offers visual styles and image downloads. For a listing illustration, evaluate composition and source agreement; for a renovation, evaluate editable geometry and saved changes separately.[1][5]

Access and cost scopeYour first floor is built in 3D free. Pay to edit it; saving and downloads follow the paid-floor or subscription terms on pricing.[4]Compare generation credits across retries and selected image styles.[1]
Input and starting pointStart from supported drawings, IFC or mesh files; check the import path before uploading.[2]Accepts SVG, PNG, JPG and GIF on this tool.[1]
Editing and interactionChat and Expert controls work on the same project. Native elements and imported objects expose different editing controls.[3][2]Style selection controls the generated presentation.[1]
Views and reviewChange the camera to inspect the project, then check the same opening in plan and spatial view.[3]Lists realistic, dollhouse, white-model and furnished top-down styles.[1]
Preservation and recoverySave accepted changes and compare alternatives; verify the source dimensions and openings after each architectural correction.[3]Compare repeated styles against the same annotated plan.[1]
Export and integrationBasic paid-floor delivery includes GLB and PNG/PDF; professional CAD formats depend on the plan. Check imported-object behavior in the recipient tool.[4][2]Documents downloading generated images.[1]

See the editing workflow

When the task is a styled image, keep appearance separate from the editable layout behind it. Here the editor identifies a particular wall surface and places a chair in the model, so you can see what is changed before choosing a presentation view.

The demonstrations use native elements in the sample duplex authored in INK TO BRICK.

Paint and finishes

Paint walls, floors and furniture from the material library, make your own materials, and apply catalog finishes to a room or the whole home.

Paint mode with Soft White selected in the material library and a wall beside the duplex’s kitchen outlined under the cursor.
The surface under the cursor is the one the next click paints.

Placing and arranging

Place, turn, select, move, copy and delete pieces, and build kitchen runs and shelves along a wall.

A mid-century lounge chair picked from the furniture list rides the cursor across the duplex’s living room in 3D, with distance guides to the walls, outlined red where the spot is taken and green where it fits, while the placement card shows the chosen chair, the rotation keys and Cancel placement.
Pick a piece and it follows the cursor; click to place it.

Use a clean source and inspect small details

Follow the tool’s single-floor guidance when possible. Check a narrow corridor, a small window and any open terrace in every style. A visually stronger image may introduce a furnishing or enclosure decision that was absent from the original.

A white-model style is still an output style

Ask whether the selected download is an image or a portable scene before planning downstream editing. The style name does not prove wall semantics. For continued review in INK TO BRICK, test the specific native or imported object you intend to correct.[2][3]

A presentation-focused shortlist

Pixalto is worth evaluating for property or client illustrations from a clear plan. INK TO BRICK serves a different next step when that source must remain a project for spatial editing. We reviewed the public interface, without a generation or download test.[2][3]

Sources and scope

The cited vendor pages support the capability comparison. Any direct demo observation is identified in the article; this is not a matched-source accuracy benchmark. Product details can change. Unavailable sources are identified, and older claims are not treated as current limitations. Check the linked plan, price and export details.
